How you cope with bouts of depression?

Do you use these to cope?

I tried doing dhyan mudra, but my area/locality is so noisy, that I cannot do any dhyan (concentration) !

Yes sir, I do. Try doing in morning, before 7 am. I think that would be the best time.

Any ways you can do anytime you feel depressed. You don't have to concentrate too hard, just sit down relax and make the hand mudra. Let me know if this works for you. This is age old knowledge which we seem to forget in our daily lives where we pop a pill and forget. pig

What I mean is, there is so much noise, it also is difficult to relax. That is why I'm not able to do this asana. But I usually don't slip into depression now, so I don't need it that much Smile.

i find running helped me in alot depression like situation. but not everyone can do running and it takes while for your budy to be used it.
this seems weird but hugging trees and takeing deep breaths helps. they say being near plants is good for heath

i might try those and sit under a beautiful tree.

i know i love nature alot but i feel very spiritual connection with nature I love you. it is very calming for me.
